SmartRail Europe: Bridging the Skills Gap with STAFFER

The SmartRail Europe conference, held on May 16-17, 2023, featured a special focus on Skills, Training, and Recruitment in the rail sector. Among the experts at the event was Barbara Grau from SNCF, who highlighted the crucial role played by STAFFER in closing the skills gap and ensuring a well-trained workforce for the sector.

During her presentation, Grau emphasised the importance of long-term training, effective recruitment strategies, and strong European cooperation to address the challenges facing the rail sector. Her remarks highlighted the essential role played by STAFFER in developing education programmes to equip the sector with the necessary skills and knowledge to meet the demands of today and the future.
